Two held for stealing water from govt pipeline

KARACHI:

Police have arrested two men for pilfering water from a government pipeline in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. The arrests were made following a complaint filed by an official of the KW&SC.

According to a sub-engineer and area distribution officer at the KW&SC, he was conducting a routine patrol on the night of March 6 when he spotted labourers using a generator to steal water from the government pipeline. A police van rushed to the scene and at around 12am, made the arrests.
