PM Shehbaz Sharif will meet JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to discuss a piece of legislation with regard to registration of seminaries that President Asif Ali Zardari has refused to sign despite getting parliament’s seal of approval.
According to sources, the PM on Thursday night reached out to Fazl and invited him for a meeting. The JUI-F chief accepted the invitation.
Sources revealed that the meeting is scheduled for today (Friday) at 3pm at the Prime Minister’s House. During the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will present the stance of the Ittehad Tanzeemat-e-Madaris to the PM.
