ISLAMABAD:
A late-night mini-rocket attack targeted the I-9 Police Station in Islamabad, sources revealed.
The incident occurred around 11:30 pm when the station’s duty officer reportedly heard an explosion. Initially, the sound was dismissed as a tire burst and no immediate action was taken.
However, it was not until the morning that the damage became evident. Closer inspection of station’s wall revealed impact marks, confirming that a mini-rocket-like object had struck the structure.
A bomb disposal team was dispatched to the scene to collect forensic evidence.
