KitKat, the iconic chocolate brand, is set to undergo its biggest transformation in almost 90 years. The beloved four-finger chocolate bar will now be available in a new two-column sharing bar format, which allows for multiple break-off pieces.

The change is part of KitKat’s efforts to make sharing moments more enjoyable and easier.

The new 99g sharing bars will be available in three flavors: double chocolate, salted caramel, and hazelnut.

Nestlé, the maker of KitKat, promises a unique eating experience, with light, creamy fillings and chocolate that melts effortlessly in the mouth. The marbled coating and varied textures further enhance the experience.

The redesign marks a significant departure from the classic format, which has been a staple since 1935.

The four-finger bar was initially introduced by Rowntree’s of York after a worker suggested creating a chocolate bar that could fit in a man’s work bag.

While this redesign has generated excitement among fans, Nestlé also announced the discontinuation of its vegan KitKat.

The plant-based version, launched in 2021, will be available until the summer due to insufficient sales.
