FM condoles Singh’s death

ISLAMABAD:

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Friday expressed grief and sorrow over the death of former Indian prime minister Dr Manmohan Singh, and extended his condolences to the Singh family, as well as the government and the people of India.

In a post on his X handle, Dar made special mention of Singh’s commitment to the promotion of regional peace and his notable role in improving Pakistan-India relations during his tenure as prime minister.

He said Singh’s approach to regional issues reflected his belief in mutual understanding, dialogue and cooperation for collective progress.
