A car parked outside a house in Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony was stolen within seconds, with CCTV footage of the incident now making rounds on social media.
The theft occurred in Alfalah Society, where two motorcycle-riding suspects executed the crime with speed and coordination, Express News reported.
In the footage, one suspect can be seen skilfully unlocking the car door and starting the vehicle in mere moments before driving off.
The car owner, Atiq Ahmed, lodged a case at Shah Faisal Police Station, stating the theft took place on January 24. Ahmed, who drives a taxi through a transport app, revealed that the vehicle was essential for his livelihood.
The police have transferred the case to the Anti-Vehicle Lifting Cell (AVLC) for further investigation. Authorities are examining the footage to trace the culprits.
