The International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced the dates for 2025 ICC World Test Championship (WTC) which will be held at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.
Lord’s will host its first WTC Final, with the first edition in 2021 held at Southampton and the second edition in 2023 at The Oval.
New Zealand won the first final, while Australia claimed victory in the second.
The one-off Test match is scheduled to take place from 11 to 15 June 2025, with 16 June reserved as a backup day in case of any delays.first time that Lord’s will host the WTC final.
The final will feature the top two teams from the WTC standings at the close of the current cycle.
Right now, India, under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, is in the top spot, with the defending champions Australia not far behind.

ICC CEO Geoff Allardice expects strong demand for the highly anticipated contest. “The ICC World Test Championship Final has quickly become one of the most anticipated events in the cricketing calendar and we are pleased to announce the dates for the 2025 edition,” Geoff said.
