In a surprising twist of events, Pakistani actor Sana Javed tied the knot with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. Javed was previously married to singer Umair Jaswal whereas Malik previously drew attention after marrying Indian tennis star Sania Mirza.
Internet had been abuzz with rumours of discord about both couples for some time now. While social media has erupted into an outpouring of support for Mirza, Jaswal’s recent Instagram posts have caught the eyes of many for their sentimental tone.
Having made no official comment on his former marriage or on Javed finding a new partner, as per Jaswal’s IG, the singer is devoting all spare time to the gym.
In a recent post to Insta grid, the singer can be seen engaging in a hardcore workout session at the gym. Accompanying the brief video clip is Kendrick Lamar’s song, United in Grief, while the post’s caption notes the time down to 3:15 am.
Picking on the emotional subtext of the post, fans took to the replies to express their support and extend well wishes. One Insta user commented, “Bro dodged the bullet and he knows it,” while another remarked, “Bro is burning memories, not calories.” “In search of gold, she lost a diamond,” penned another member of Team Umair.
“Respect…stay strong champ! You got this,” another fan praised Jaswal for handling the situation with grace. Another supporter complimented the Gagar singer’s perseverance, “Life knocked you down [but] you have the resilience to bounce back stronger and soar even higher.”
Other IG users joined the horde of supporters with wishes “More power to you” whereas one fan empathetically advised, “Whatever happened in the past does not define you, you deserve better.”
It appears that the musician is receiving support not only from fans but also from big names in showbiz. Pakistani A-list actor Hamza Ali Abbasi took to Insta Story with a candid picture of him at the gym with Jaswal.
Hinting at an inside joke, Abbasi commented in the overlaying text, “Some jokes never get old. Late night gym with Umair Jaswal.”In the attached picture, the two celebs can be seen sharing a laugh while lifting weights.
The Sammi Meri Waar artist has also found support from Pakistani actor and host Ahmad Ali Butt who took to IG Story with a tender note. “To my brother Umair Jaswal,” Butt began. “You’re a lion, my friend and a true gentleman. It takes courage to stay grateful in times of adversity.”
The Gunjal actor further relayed his sentiments, “We all have our fair share of problems but what defines us is how we learn and grow. Keep walking tall, brother. May Allah bless you and your family always.”
Jaswal first drew attention after ex-wife Javed’s marriage for his cryptic Insta Story featuring an image alongside John Mayer’s song Who Says. The post, though not explicitly stated, seemed to convey his emotions regarding the recent turn of events.
