The Big Bash League (BBL) has significantly expanded its roster of Pakistani nominees, adding 75 new names to the list.
The expanded list includes high-profile players such as Naseem Shah and Fakhar Zaman.
This follows the earlier nominations of Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, Imad Wasim, Usama Mir, and Zaman Khan.
The updated roster now features an additional 64 male cricketers and 11 female cricketers from Pakistan, all of whom are eligible for selection in this year’s Men’s BBL and Women’s BBL (WBBL) drafts, scheduled for 1 September.
Among the recent male nominees, standouts include dynamic opener Fakhar Zaman, express fast bowler Naseem Shah, Pakistan’s current Test captain Shan Masood, and promising young talent Saim Ayub.
On the women’s side, Pakistan’s T20 captain Fatima Sana leads a strong contingent of nominees, joined by seasoned players Nida Dar, Diana Baig, and Aliya Riaz, as well as rising stars like Tuba Hasan and Arooba Shah.
