A local court on Wednesday extended the interim bail of social media personality Rajab Butt and others in a case involving alleged death threats to TikToker Umar Butt.

The court also directed the police to submit a report at the next hearing.

The session court heard the case, where the accused—Rajab Butt, Haider Ali, and Man Dogar—appeared before the judge. Defence lawyer Junaid Khan argued that his clients had already joined the investigation and requested the court to confirm their bail.

Presiding over the hearing, Additional Sessions Judge Abid Ali extended the interim bail of the accused until 24 March, asking the police to present their findings in the case.

Last month, Rajab Butt and seven others were for allegedly threatening TikToker Umer Fayyaz Butt. The case was filed after Rajab Butt, Mann Dogar, and Haider Shah, accompanied by armed individuals, reportedly arrived at Umer Fayyaz’s house in the morning.

The complaint, filed by Umer Fayyaz, claims that Dogar used abusive language and issued threats during a TikTok live session. Umer Fayyaz, calling it an attack on his dignity, has sought legal action against Butt and his associates.

The police confirmed that the case has been registered and legal proceedings are underway. Butt, who gained fame through his family vlogs, has faced multiple legal issues, including another case in Karachi.

According to spectators who watched the live session, Umer Butt, while on a live video with Rajab Butt’s close associate Maan Dogar, resorted to using foul language directed at Rajab Butt’s mother and sister.

In response, Rajab Butt defended his family and criticised Umer Butt, questioning the authenticity of both Umer and his brother, Ali Butt, suggesting that their behaviour had harmed the reputations of several girls.

Rajab Butt went on to warn Umer Butt and Ali Butt, threatening to expose personal secrets if they continued to target his family in their disputes.
