JCP reviews Lahore High Court judges’ nominations today

ISLAMABAD’:

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan is set to meet on Thursday (today) to consider the nominations for 10 additional judges of the Lahore High Court.

Chief Justice Yahya Afridi will preside over the Judicial Commission of Pakistan meeting at Supreme Court Committee room 2 at 2pm.

The Commission has received 49 nominations, including four from district and sessions judges and 45 from lawyers.

The judges names are Qaiser Nazir Butt, Muhammad Akmal Khan, Jazeela Aslam and Abher Gul Khan and 45 senior lawyers.
