The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced it will offer additional residential plots in Margalla Enclave, responding to the strong demand for housing in the capital.
Margalla Enclave, a joint venture between the CDA and the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), is located on Park Road in Sector C-14.
The decision comes after the CDA received a record number of applications for residential plots during the recent balloting for Sector C-14.
A total of 1,700 applications were submitted for just 236 plots, each measuring 500 square yards.
In light of the overwhelming demand, the CDA has decided to offer residential plots in three sizes: five marlas, 10 marlas, and 500 square yards.
These plots are part of the larger Margalla Enclave development, which is expected to become a prime residential area in Islamabad.
“We are offering a variety of plot sizes to cater to the growing demand from investors and those looking to build their homes,” a CDA spokesperson said.
“This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking residential plots in a well-connected area of the city.”
The new plots in Margalla Enclave will be offered with flexible payment plans, with options spanning one, two, or three years. This payment flexibility aims to make the plots more accessible to a wider range of buyers.
CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa expressed that the expansion of Margalla Enclave marks a significant step in Islamabad’s urban development.
“This project is a milestone for the city’s growth and will set a benchmark for future residential developments in the capital,” Randhawa stated.
Development work in Sector C-14 is progressing, and the CDA aims to ensure timely possession of plots once the final instalment has been cleared. Possession will be granted within 10 months of receiving a letter of intimation from the CDA.
In addition to its prime location, Margalla Enclave will offer modern infrastructure, state-of-the-art utilities, and extensive green spaces, making it an attractive choice for both investors and homeowners.
The CDA also emphasised that the project’s design incorporates sustainable living practices.
The Margalla Enclave expansion follows the success of Sector C-14, which saw a high level of interest during the recent plot balloting.
Buyers are encouraged to confirm their plot allocations and submit their first instalment to secure their investment.
