A delegation of Hindu yatris from India, led by Sant Yudhishtarlal, visited the historic Sadhu Belo Temple in Sukkur, where they performed puja and prayed for global development, prosperity, and regional peace.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by Hindu Panchayat chief Ishwar Lal, Deputy Mayor Arshad Mughal, and other local dignitaries upon their arrival in Sukkur.

To reach the temple, the pilgrims took a boat ride, adding to the spiritual ambiance of their journey. The Hindu community welcomed the delegation with beating drums and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region. The district administration and Hindu Panchayat arranged a special invitation for the Hindu pilgrims, highlighting the strong bonds between the two communities.

Lal expressed his gratitude for the warm reception, stating that every year, they visit and worship their historical holy places fostering a sense of unity and cooperation. He also praised the good relations between India and Pakistan, saying that the hearts of the people beat for each other. The delegation’s visit serves as a testament to the enduring spirit of friendship and cultural exchange between the two nations. The Sadhu Bela Temple, situated on an islet in the River Indus, is a significant pilgrimage site, founded by Baba Bankhandi, an Udasi missionary from Nepal.
