Salman Ahmad, a member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has been expelled from the party, with the notification of his dismissal officially issued by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar.

According to the notification released by PTI, Salman Ahmad was found to violate the party’s policies. He had been posting anti-PTI content on social media, specifically targeting the party leadership.

Ahmad used his Twitter account to post about Bushra Bibi and the family of PTI’s founding chairman, Imran Khan.

The notification further stated that despite clear instructions from the founding chairman, Ahmad continued to share content on social media that directly contradicted the party’s stance. As a result, the decision was made to revoke his membership from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf immediately.

On Nov 22, in a controversial post on X, PTI activist and singer Salman Ahmad lashed out at Bushra Bibi, describing her as “corrupt and greedy.

He accused her, along with her associates—including Malik Riaz, Zulfi Bokhari, Farah Gogi, and Gen Faiz—of being a “constant source of embarrassment” for Imran Khan.

While tagging former President Arif Alvi and his son Awab Alvi in the post, Ahmad further criticized Bushra Bibi and her circle, calling them “uneducated and stupid.”

He also expressed his disgust, claiming it was absurd to suggest that Imran Khan’s removal as Prime Minister was due to him walking barefoot in Madina.

PTI founding chairman Imran Khan had strongly criticized singer Salman Ahmad for making baseless allegations against former First Lady Bushra Bibi. Khan condemned Ahmad’s tweets as “foolish” and dismissed them as unfounded attacks.

Earlier, Rana Sanaullah, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs, has accused Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of causing significant damage through its social media cell.

Sanaullah criticized the party for misleading the public with fake news on social media, but asserted that their deceptive tactics were eventually exposed, leaving their strategies in disarray.
